It is not advisable to brush your teeth with turmeric powder. Turmeric powder will stain your teeth and other surfaces it comes in contact with. Unless you are working with an experienced dental professional who recommends otherwise, it is advisable to brush our teeth with dentist recommended toothpastes that contain some fluoride. These can be found at your local drug store or market.
Even though turmeric does have natural anti-inflammatory properties to help ease inflammation, including our gums, it is not recommended to brush your teeth with just turmeric powder or on a long terms basis as it will make your teeth yellow.
