Dehydration happens when there is an electrolyte imbalance in the body, either due to excessive loss of fluid from The body or failure to replace the lost fluid through the proper fluid intake. The symptoms include sunken eyes, dryness and loss of skin turgor, tachycardia, lower blood pressure, fatigue, and dizziness. It is advised to either treat the patient with oral dehydration using ORS or Intravenous fluid.
